I finally decided to start my own beauty based blog. After reading so many amazing blogs this year, I could resist no longer and decided to take the plunge.
I thought I would start this blog by introducing myself and giving you an idea of why I started my blog and what I plan to write about.
I am Stephanie (usually just Steph) I am currently 20 years old and a Bachelor of Commerce student at Deakin University in Geelong. 2012 will be my 3rd year but sadly not my last. When at university I live on residences there. During my holidays (and many weekends) I am at home with my Mum, Nan and older brother Jake. I love my family very much and we are all close. I am the proud owner of two adorable but occasionally naughty Miniature Dachshunds (or snags), Archie and Otto. As a family we also have some cats (Ragdolls and plain old Moggies). I would love a pet frog, but my Mum says she will not feed it when I am at university. Outside of makeup I love reading, movies, crime TV shows, music, the Collingwood FC, my family and friends.
I have always had a love of makeup and beauty products. As a young girl I owned many lip glosses. At age 13 my Mum purchased me my first mascara and my love affair began. Until recent times I stuck only to 'drugstore' brands but a love of all things luxurious (whether I can actually afford it or not) has encouraged my obsession with the luxury brands. Over the last few months and especially after joining BeautyHeaven my makeup collection has ballooned. Personally I love buying lipsticks but as most beauty-addicts I will buy any makeup I can get my hands on.
The name of my blog comes from my love of luxury lipsticks, I have a growing collection of YSL, Chanel and recently added a Tom Ford lipstick to the mix. I think there is a beautiful feeling about applying a creamy, amazing pigmented and gorgeously packaged lipstick to the lips.
I decided to start this blog so that I can share my experiences with others and connect with other beauty lovers. On this blog you can expect to see reviews, FOTD, NOTD, hauls, tips and other beauty related ramblings.
I have a feeling it may be a bit of a wild ride, but as they say it's the journey not the destination that matters. So I hope you will stick around for it.
Thanks for reading, I look forward to hearing from you.
