June Empties

Firstly, apologies for the dodgy photos. I have a had a couple of very busy and stressful days at work and haven't had any daylight to take decent photos. Seriously I have been leaving home at 7.45am and getting home at 6pm. I am tired but wanted to get this post up. I have having empty containers laying around and I have a fair few this month!

evo The Therapist Calming Shampoo & Conditioner
I really enjoyed these products. They have made my hair feel stronger and healthier than it has in a long time. It is a very moisturising formula. I also love that the bottles are 300ml which is larger than normal salon hair care products. I have already repurchased.

evo The Great Hydrator Moisture Mask
I am planning on writing a full review on this soon but let's just say I LOVE this product. It is amazing. I have already repurchased and think I will continue to do so.

DeLorenzo Essential Treatment Equilibrium Masque
This was a sample product from a Lust Have It box and I can't say I thought much of it. It didn't do much for my hair but it did smell good - it has rosehip oil in it.

Suigo Moisture Control Vital Nutrition Intensive Hair Repair Treatment
I had high hopes for this after all the rave reviews I had read from other bloggers. Honestly, I hated it from the moment I read the directions. It tells you to shampoo your hair, towel dry it, apply the mask and then leave on for 15-20mins before rinsing. Seriously? I refuse to get in the shower, wash my hair, then get out for 20mins until it is time to rinse off a mask.

Avon Advance Techniques Paddle Brush
I have had this hair brush for a couple of years and it has served me well. Recently, the bristles started to fall out which made the brush pretty useless. I have replaced it with a Models Prefer one from Priceline... until I can afford a Mason Pearson hair brush - they are like the Rolls Royce of hair brushes.

Dove Original Anti Perspirant Deodorant
This is a just a mini I had laying around from when I carried it in my handbag ages ago. I just used it up to be done with it. It was okay from what I remember.

Rexona Clinical Protection Anti Perspirant Deodorant
This is a staple product for me. Already repurchased and will continue to do so.

Cutex Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover
I have no rhyme or reason to what nail polish remover I purchase except what takes my fancy at the time. This is a fine nail polish remover though I prefer one with acetone. I find it quicker to remove my polish with an acetone remover.

Molton Brown Bracing Silver Body Wash
This came in a GWP from David Jones. I enjoyed the scent of this - it was very fresh, uplifting and slightly masculine. However it seemed to leave my skin feeling a little dry, something very few body washes do to me.

Models Prefer Deep Repair Anti-Age Cleansing Wipes
I picked these up as I have heard good things about the MP range from Priceline. I quite liked these. They cleansed my skin well and left it feeling hydrated. I love the proper lid too. Would repurchase in the future.

Allegra Rhodes Cherry Blossom Hand & Nail Cream
A little sample from a subscription box. It was okay.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector
Only really half empty but I wasn't overly impressed. I haven't used it for ages anyway so in the bin it is going.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector
I really liked this lip gloss and it almost finished but it seems to have gone a little off so in the bin it goes. I would consider purchasing it in full size.

Swisspers Cleansing Eye Make-Up Remover Pads
I purchased these when I was in between bottles of Bioderma Crealine. These were a 'meh' product for me. They didn't remove all my eye make up and were a little from the start. I wouldn't repurchase.

Woah, that felt like a lot of empties!

I can't believe this year is already half gone. It seems unbelievable. But July means tax return time! Yay! I am definitely hanging out for that. Money for a spending spree once my spending ban ends...

What did finish up in June? Any plans for your tax return?

  1. I use that Suigo mask, but I don't follow the directions, I just leave it in for 10min while I am having a bath

  2. I really like the Suigo treatment. I have long hair and it's easier to wash in the tub, then I apply treatment to my hair wrap it up in a towel, exfoliate my face, rinse and apply a moisturizing mask then its just about time to jump in the shower and wash it all off. It's one of those treatments you use when you have time and want to pamper yourself with mini spa day. I have very dry hair and like the deep conditioning treatments you leave on for a while.

I really enjoyed the EVO Shampoo and conditioner too!
